THE LITTLE RIPPER HEADLIGHT.
Turn a Baja Designs S2 into a headlight for your kids STAYCYC. The headlight is powered off of your Milwaukee M12 Batteries so you don't drain the bikes battery more than the bike itself. This kit comes pre-wired and pre-assembled making it plug & play right out of the box, all you need is the Baja Designs light and a battery which you will get directly from the manufacturer.
We designed this kit in house for the STAYCYC 16e bike. There is a few different pieces to the puzzle including the following:
The Headlight Housing:
We designed the headlight housing to fit perfectly on the handlebars just in front of the stem, for a clean front end look. The install is easy, just unbolt the 4 stem bolts to take the face plate off and then slide the headlight hosing backing plate on, reassemble the stem. Once that is done the headlight and housing bolt directly onto the backing plate. The Headlight housing has vents on top and bottom to keep airflow to the light.
The Battery Housing:
We designed the battery housing to sit right on top of the frame where the 45 degree angle connects, which is where the clamp is that holds it to the frame securely. This does not interfere with anything on the original bike. We wanted to use an external battery other than the battery that powers the bike because we did not want to interfere with the ride time of the bike. So now, you can use your Milwaukee M12 batteries that you have laying around. We also provide a low Voltage Disconnect device to protect the batteries from over discharge. The biggest battery you can fit is the 2.5 amp hour. There is a rocker switch right on top to turn the headlight on and off.
During our testing with the 2.5 amp hour battery, the S2 Pro got about 1 hour 45 minutes of run time before our low voltage disconnect device powered it off. The S1 does not have as long of run time...
This housing is 3D printed here in the USA making the form and fit perfection.

DISCLAIMERS
Disclaimer and Warning IMPORTANT: Read Before Using Our Products
Thank you for choosing ROVRLAB.com for your 3D printed products. Please read and understand the following disclaimer and warnings before using our products.
FIRST AND FOREMOST : DURABILITY
All of our flashlight housings at the moment are 3d printed. This allows us to really have endless possibilities on the design front as far as what we can make and build. We design and manufacture all of our products in house, here in Orange County, California.
These Flashlight housings are not intended to be the most durable, nor are we making those claims. The 3d printed PETG plastic part's durability is compromised when inserting the light and battery (which have a fair bit of weight to them). This means that if you drop the housing on concrete there is a likely chance that it can crack. Depending on the model, If you drop it on dirt it is likely the housing will be fine.
IF YOU PURCHASE ONE OF OUR FLASHLIGHT HOUSINGS, AND AT SOME POINT DURING OWNERSHIP YOU DROP THE HOUSING AND IT BREAKS/CRACKS, WE OFFER A DEEP DISCOUNT TO REPLACE IT.
99% OF THE TIME THE LIGHT AND BATTERY ITSELF WILL BE FINE, BECAUSE THE PLASTIC PART WILL ENDURE ALL OF THE IMPACT AND TAKE THE HIT. IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU GET IN CONTACT WITH OUR TEAM (SUPPORT@ROVRLAB.COM) AND WE CAN HELP YOU REPLACE THE HOUSING FOR A BRAND NEW ONE.
3D Printed Flashlight Housings
Our flashlight housings are designed to fit a various number of off-road light brands including Baja Designs, KC Hilights, Rigid Lights, Diode Dynamics Lights, and Morimoto Lights. These Flashlight housings utilize Milwaukee, DeWalt, or Makita batteries as the power source. These housings are 3D printed using high-quality materials, but they are not intended to withstand extreme conditions or heavy abuse. Before using the flashlight housing, please consider the following:
Safety Precautions: The light itself will generate heat during prolonged use. The Materials we use are very heat resistant and depending on the model, after testing run times and prolonged use, we can confidently say that our housings can withstand the heat coming from the light for 2+ hours continuously. We would not necessarily advise you to run them for longer than that amount of time, and we have not tested heat resistance longer than 3 hours of continuous use.
Compatibility: Ensure that the flashlight housing is compatible with your chosen light and battery, whether that be Baja Designs, KC Hilights, Rigid, Diode Dynamics, Morimoto : and paired with Milwaukee M12 or M18, DeWalt 20v, or Makita 18v battery platforms. Using an incompatible light or battery may result in improper fit or function.
Proper Use: Use the flashlight housing only as intended, following the manufacturer's instructions for both the flashlight housing and the Baja Designs light. Failure to do so may result in injury or damage to the product.
Limited Endorsement: Our flashlight housings are not manufactured by Baja Designs or Milwaukee Tool. We do have the support from Baja Designs as a company and brand, as we are now an authorized Baja Designs Dealer. Any warranties or claims regarding the lights or batteries are separate from our products and should be directed to the respective manufacturers.
Modification and Repair: Do not attempt to modify or repair the flashlight housing yourself. Any unauthorized modifications or repairs may compromise the safety and functionality of the product.
Proposition 65 Compliance (California Residents): Some materials used in our flashlight housings may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. For California residents, Proposition 65 requires us to provide a clear warning about these potential risks. Please see the Proposition 65 warning on our product pages.
Disclaimer of Liability: By using our flashlight housings, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with their use. ROVRLAB.com and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use or misuse of our products.
Use of Third-Party Products: The use of Baja Designs, KC Lights, Rigid Lights, Diode Dynamics, Morimoto lights and Milwaukee M12/M18, DeWalt 20v, and Makita 18v batteries is subject to their respective manufacturer's guidelines and safety precautions. ROVRLAB.com shall not be held liable for any issues or damages that arise from the use of these third-party products in conjunction with our flashlight housings.
